Keyboard

The Keyboard Control Panel remains the same. On the Speed tab you can change the delays between recognised keystrokes and how fast the letters should actually be rolled out. The speed at which the text cursor blinks can be changed too.

In the Language tab you can change what international keyboard is used and set up the PC so that it has different ones. Many keyboards have different letters mapped to keys and aren't laid out in the QWERTY format. You can install numerous languages on the same PC and set one as default. There is then a keyboard combination, which you can adjust in this tab too, to allow you to switch between languages. Excellent if you need to write in one language, but include excerpts from another, because you can swap and have access to any special characters and accents in that language, then swap back again.
